Conflict of Interest Policy for Research 11-01-03

University Members are encouraged to engage in outside activities consistent with the University's mission and which benefit society and are permitted to have management or officer positions in outside entities and receive financial benefit from their outside professional activities, so long as these interests do not interfere with their University duties or distort the judgements expected of them. This policy establishes the guidelines for these activities, and faculty and staff are required to make the disclosures outlined in this policy to facilitate effective identification and management of conflicts of interest (COIs).
