The Office of Policy Development and Management (Policy Office) was established by AO 01 Establishing University Policies (formerly University Policy 01-01-01) to facilitate the University of Pittsburgh's process for developing and managing University policies and their supporting documents, including procedures and standards. The Policy Office serves to provide oversight and guidance for members of the University community in developing new and updating existing policies in an effective, efficient, consistent, and transparent manner.
